Philanthropy

From the time of our founding, Alpha Delta Pi has believed in the importance of giving back to our community. A dedication to philanthropy guides our members to spend time in the service of those who need it most. Our international organization’s commitment to Ronald McDonald House Charities has led to the donation of over $15,000,000 over the course of our partnership. More than 350 Ronald McDonald Houses in 64 countries help keep families with seriously ill or injured children together when they need it most by offering them a comfortable, temporary residence in proximity to a medical facility.

A Letter from our Director of Philanthropy, Reagan Fisher:

When I think of Alpha Delta Pi’s open motto, “We Live for Each Other,” I am reminded that it extends beyond just my sisters—it means living with purpose and giving back to those in need. This value is at the heart of the Theta Kappa chapter, guiding us in our daily commitment to service.
We are especially proud to support our national philanthropy, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), with all of our fundraising efforts benefiting the South Florida House in Miami. RMHC is a mission-driven organization that provides free housing, meals, and a comforting environment for families with sick children—keeping them just steps away from the hospitals where their children are receiving critical care. By easing financial and emotional burdens, RMHC offers families a sense of reassurance and a home away from home during difficult times.
Located in the heart of Boca Raton, we are fortunate to be just 22 miles from the Ronald McDonald House South Florida, which provided nearly 15,000 nights of housing for local families last year. Being only 40 minutes away allows our sisters to make a hands-on impact, whether through the Adopt-a-Meal program, activity hours, or various other volunteer initiatives.
At Theta Kappa, we don’t just believe in service—we live it

I am incredibly honored to lead my chapter in our philanthropic efforts. In 2024, the Theta Kappa chapter raised over $50,000 for Ronald McDonald House Charities and made a $50,000 pledge to name a room after Theta Kappa in their new building—a lasting tribute to our commitment to this incredible cause.
To achieve this, we hosted a variety of fundraising events, including car washes, Pie-a-Pi, Water Wars, dance competitions, givebacks, and more. Each event brought our chapter closer together while reinforcing our shared passion for service.
The first time I visited RMHC of South Florida, my perspective on service changed entirely. Witnessing firsthand the impact of their work—providing a true home for families when they need it most—was unlike anything I had ever seen. I am beyond proud that our sisters can play even a small role in creating that sense of comfort and support.
Being part of this philanthropy has given our chapter a deeper understanding of service, instilling values that will stay with us for a lifetime. We are forever grateful for the lessons RMHC has taught us and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

All my love,

Raegan Fisher
